A recent report highlighted this case again. Emmett Till aged 14 years horrifically killed by two white men because of a false claim by one of their wifes – an accusation of a sexual nature back in the mid 1950s. The wife Carolyn Bryant Donham now in her 80s confessed that she lied about the accusation. The photographs depicting the families of the two men in the court room resonated with me. A normal loving family but underneath pure evil lurks. I have tried to capture this:
