Life drawing with a twist
1st life drawing class for quite a few years, however all that we know or feel comfortable would be put aside for some unconventional but liberating techniques. A combination of drawing without seeing, using opposite hand and making a mark using a long cane. Ironically the best one was using all three methods.
Finally working on this painting…..
This painting has been propped up in the studio at uni for weeks, now feel ready to tackle it. A link from last terms work to my current practice featuring the hare/stork figure. A dream like world featuring events from the day coupled with a solitary figure conjuring up dark emotions.

Infertility Demon
Inspired by the hare like figure from my rabbit painting, I decided to create a figure that incorporates the characteristics of a hare & a stork. Both represent fertility, however my demon incapsulates the feelings of loss, anger, jealousy and acceptance. Now thinking of transforming my drawing into a puppet…….
